What Professional Organizers Can Do for You
Organized people save time and money, and reduce their stress and frustration levels. Professional organizers can help you deal with everything from your paper to your professional responsibilities and give you parameters on what to keep, what to toss, and where to take action. Our members are located throughout Oregon and have different arenas in which they specialize, so focusing your search will help you pare down to the professional who might be the best fit for your situation.
For example, your search criteria could focus on:
- The city, neighborhood, or zip in which you live (e.g, Lake Oswego, Tigard, Burlingame, Mt Tabor, 97219, 97239, 97201, 97034).
- The area of service in which you live (e.g., Portland Metropolitan, Vancouver, Southern Washington, Willamette Valley).
- If the work is taking place within your residential environment, then you would focus on areas of the home or the specific task at hand (e.g., attic, basement, closets, collections, estate sales, kitchen, garage, home office, memorabilia, moving, relocation, space planning, technology).
- If the work is taking place within your business environment, your search would focus on specifics inside your professional arena (e.g., corporate organizing, ergonomics, home business, information management, infrastructure, paper management, pc/mac computer focus, productivity, time management, small business, space planning, technology).
- Special needs of the individuals involved (e.g., children, chronic disorganization, compulisve hoarding, people with ADD, people with ADHD, people with disabilities, seniors, students).
- Other industry specialties (e.g., coaching clients, event planning, public seminars, public speaking, product line distribution, organizer mentor, organizer trainer, training workshops).
